– Opening instructions for X-TrackAmaze 10 for MS Excel 32-Bit – Version number

1. Pre-requisites
a.
Microsoft® Excel®
Version 2010 (32-Bit) on Windows Operating System
(32-Bit or 64-Bit)
b.
A PDF Viewer (like
Adobe® Reader®) for viewing the help file. (Adobe®
Reader® is freely downloadable)
Note: This version of X-TrackAmaze
will not work with Microsoft Excel 64-Bit. Please get in touch with support
team of the publisher regarding this.
2. Instructions
to install X-TrackAmaze 10 for
Microsoft Excel 32-Bit
1.
After you have downloaded XTA10_v10_3_0_Installer.zip, extract the contents
of this compressed file into a folder of your choice. (You can extract this by using
Windows Explorer in some versions of Windows OS or WinZip or any other
compatible application).

Please close Microsoft Excel or any
other Microsoft Office programs.

If you have a previous version of X-TrackAmaze
installed, please Uninstall
through “Add Remove Programs” (or its equivalent, based on your Operating
System). If you do not have any previous version, proceed to the next step.
4.
In the extracted folder, you would
find XTA10_v10_3_0_Installer.msi. Open this
file and follow the installation steps as the installer guides you through.
Note: In case the installer requests for any permission to run the
application, you would need to provide the permission for the Installer to
continue.
5.
After the installation, if you want to
work with a sample file to familiarize yourself with the Product, open “Start->All Programs->X-TrackAmaze->Sample
File”. X-TrackAmaze file opens up. Enable macros and then go ahead and try
it out.
6.
If you want to create a new plan, open
“Start->All Programs->X-TrackAmaze->Create
New Plan [from Read-Only Template]” and start using the plan after enabling
the macros. You have to do a “Save As” to create your own plan from this
template.
For detailed description of the
features and functionalities in the tool, you can refer to the help file “xTrackAmaze10_Help.pdf”. You can access the help
either through the X-TrackAmaze menu that gets created (“Start->All
Programs->X-TrackAmaze->X-TrackAmaze 10 Help”) or from inside the X-TrackAmaze file or open directly from
the X-TrackAmaze folder under “My Documents”
(or its
equivalent). When you open X-TrackAmaze after installation, you
can go to “About_XTA” worksheet to get a
quick view of the features available in the product, through Indicator Quick
Reference picture that is given in the worksheet.
Trial
Period
If you are using this for trial,
the trial period will expire in 30 days. To continue using the product beyond the
trial period, you would need to purchase license for the product and activate
the license. If you have already made the purchase and not yet activated the
license, see section “Activation of License” in the pdf help file for
the activation procedure. You can also view the activation details at http://www.excelsquare.com/howtoregister.html
Note 1: X-TrackAmaze 10 Version 10.3.0 requires new activation code even
if you had activated any previous versions of X-TrackAmaze (viz. X-TrackAmaze
07 or X-TrackAmaze 03). The activation supplied for any of these earlier
versions will not work with this X-TrackAmaze version.
